Function overview CCM-Editor
For use in planning/engineering practice
- The CCM-Editor is a software tool for creating, checking and editing climate data sets
- Climate Calculation Module is the central library for climate data handling and calculation of climatic impacts, which is equally used by all IBK simulation programs.
- With the CCM editor, climate location data in 3 formats () can be read and edited directly.
*.c6b, *.epw, *.wac
- Allows convenient data exchange with spreadsheet programs (Excel, LibreOffice-Calc, etc.) and has a generic text format import wizard.
- During the import, the conversion from direct horizontal radiation to normal radiation takes place.
- Further information can be found in the manual
Variety of climate data sets
- Most climate data are stored as an annual data set in an hourly grid, without leap days, thus such a data set contains exactly 8760 values.
- CCM Editor allows users to create data sets using flexible time points and data points. The time period of data storage is arbitrary.
- Each entered value is checked for validity. Incorrect values will not be accepted and users will be reported.
- As soon as a value is present in the data series, a check is made to see if there are any errors in the data series.
More functions
- Copy records or selection ranges to the clipboard and back.
- When inserting data, a distinction is made between direct insertion and import using import wizards.
- In addition to climate data, metadata, e.g. station data, can be specified.
- The CCM Editor is free of charge and is available for download here.
